What the heck is wrong with people?
I'm a social worker and one of my kids' moms comes up to see her kid today. I go up to get her so she can see her child and she sees me, says hello, and then proceeds to say to me "wow...you got fat." I was in shock  . So I said "excuse me?" And she repeats herself while laughing. I was beside myself in anger but I still need to be professional so I simply say to her "well thank you for pointing that out. I appreciate your comment."
Keep in mind I only gained 18lbs during my pregnancy so I am not really even needing to loose weight. I mean, I would like to get back into shape after having DS and I am definately having some self image issues. Why would anyone make a comment like this to someone??!!
