What the...? Why are search helicopters flying over my house and in my yard??? UPDATED
Anyone know what's going on in Commack? Getting a little freaked out!

By wood park and sawmill schools. the helicopter went away for a few minutes, now it's back. i don't think its an accident. the helicopter was hoovering for a while now it's circling shining it's search light in all of our yards

We had that in my neighborhood last week, they are searching for a criminal. Just make sure your doors are locked and stay inside untill it clears.
eta: Or a little less scary, but not much, there could be an Amber Alert in your area.

Wow! It's kinda scary. Hope it's nothing bad. Weird things have been going on in my neighborhood lately. Just today alone my dad came outside this morning and someone had put a full big gulp in our mailbox on it's side so it went all over.

UPDATE: Well, it was a bunch of crooks who tried robbing a few houses in the area. According to what I learned though, they got away...for now...when their car crashed into a fence and they took off on foot. So, please be careful, these losers may still be out there.

SERIOUSLY! If you don't have money for christams gifts this year, just bake cookies and call it a day...don't need to rob someone who has worked hard for what they have.
