What theme did you do for your DD's 1st Bday?
I am so torn.
DD loves Dora and that is one idea I have right now.
I have also thought about doing Sesame Street 1st or Tinkerbell.
Although I like Dora and Tinkerbell IDK if they are appropriate for 1st birthdays...part of me feels like she will only turn 1 once so I should do something with a one year old specific theme.
I also thought about just getting plain pink 1 balloons and decorations and then adding a touch of Elmo. I got the inspiration off of one of DD's blankies that is pink with Elmo on it. Is that dumb?
What did you do for your DD's first? TIA.

It's very cute!! If your DD likes a certain character then you should definitely do it as a theme.

I did Tinkerbell for my DD. She was born in November so I dressed her up like Tinkerbell for Halloween and then used her costume again for her birthday. It really was cute. I did Dora for her 2nd birthday!

My DD has a July birthday, so for her first, I did FLIP FLOPS. We had a backyard party, and I asked everyone to wear flip flops...all the decorations were flip flops, the cake had flip flops, her dress had flip flops on it...it was fun!

We just did a girlie '1' theme. My DD didn't have a favorite character so we didn't want to use one as a theme. We just had DD's second birthday tonight and we did a star theme because She LOVES singing Twinkle twinkle ALL the time.
