What time to have character come?
I am looking to do a birthday party at my house for my DD who will be 4 and wanted to hire one of her favorite Disney princesses to visit. If the party starts at 3:30, what would be a good time to have the princess visit? After dinner so like 5? or earlier?

We are doing one for DD's party on Saturday. Her party starts at 12:00 p.m. and the character is coming at 12:30 p.m. I think it's too early (DH booked it). I would say an hour after the party starts. So, in your case - 4:30

I think 4 is perfect. I prefer when parties for kids are 2 hours or less, so if you started at 5 i would miss most of it. I’m assuming my daughter would also miss cake.

Re: What time to have character come?
I agree the party should be no more than 2 hours so 4 is good.
