what to ask when you call a realtor?
Hi, I finally found a house my husband is interested in as well. He's very particular!! ;)We have a relatively small home and want to upgrade but want to keep it affordable. I found a home that we both seem to love. He told me to call the realtor and look. What should I ask about? I definitely want to go look at the home but any pertinent info I should ask? I almost feel like this home is to good to be true....

I would ask if it's still on the market, what the taxes are, and how soon you could get in to see it (sooner the better in the market)! Good luck!

I would ask how long its been on the market, how many open houses has it had, if the add doesnt allready say so the taxes, and lot size. Age of home. How serious are the sellers- did they pruchase elsewhere and need to sell asap? ( thats important- if they did neg the price bigtime) of course the age of the roof and siding. gas or oil heat. some of these questions may be in the add but ask anyway never know could be a typo! and what improvements in the last 5-10 yrs have the homeowners done? example kitchen , bathroom, windows.
