NO!!!!! Just those vapor plug things and vicks...the vaporizor...keep her elevated etc!!! Saline nose drops...

DS was congrested a few weeks a go and I cant begin to tell you how much $$$ I would of paid for a bottle of pediacare....I know it sounds horrible but I had been sick and so had DH and then DS so we were literally on no sleep for 2 weeks..it was worse than when he was a newborn.

When Lucas is sick with a cold I use/do:

- Cool Mist Humidifer every night
- Baby Vicks Vapor rub on feet, chest and around nose
- Saline Spray for nose
- Elevate crib mattress a little

ETA: While you have some time now...see if you can locate a walk in ped center for your daughter in Orlando just in case the cold gets worse while you are there. If you are staying at a hotel call their front desk to inquire.

I agree 100% with ALL of this. When Troy was sick we did all these and it seemed to keep him as comfortable as we could. *To elevate his crib, we folded up his comforter and put it under the "head" of the mattress.
