What to do on a very short trip to Boston?
DH and I are going up to a suburb of Boston in August for a wedding. It's on a Friday evening and we're planning on staying til Sunday. However, there's a post-wedding gtg early Saturday afternoon that we're attending because we don't get to see this family too often. So we basically have from around 3pm Saturday and then maybe til about 12-1pm Sunday.
Neither of us have ever been so we'd like to see what we can in the short amount of time we have and also have a nice (not dress up nice but nice) dinner Saturday night.
Any suggestions? TIA!

My favorite museum is the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum. I would eat at either Durgin Park in Faneuil Hall or the Union Oyster House, both of which are old traditional boston restaurants. Then I would go to the north end for a canolli at Mike's Pastry. For breakfast, either Friendly Toast, Thortons, or Mike's Diner. Then I would take a duck boat tour of Boston.

I just saw someone on FB posted that they were in Boston and did some sort of ghost tour...not sure if you're into that but I'd totally want to do it!

We went to the Sam Adams brewery. It was a tour of the facility and it ended with us sitting outside with a glass of beer each.
