What To Do When You Are Stuck In Between A Rock And A Hard Place WIth Ordering REFILLS On Your Fertility Meds

I have refills..two on the Gonal F and 2 on th Menopur as well as on the needles. I am stimming slow as a lot of you know here and I have like 5-8 more days of them. I think I was told if you order more you tap into another cycle on your insurance. Has this happened to any of you and is this true? I think I may have just enough because even if I am a long stimmer I think 5-8 would carry me threw if they don't end up cancelling my cycle. So do I order the meds "just in case" or take the chance?? HELP!

PS. I do have a secondary insurance as well with DH so I wonder how this would play a role in ordering more meds.

PICA trys to tell you that each refill is considered a cycle, but they can't you have to fight them with the proper documentation. It seems like you are getting very anxious, try not to just roll with it you'll be done with the stimming b/f you know it.

I know my RE told me if I was a dose or two short they would give them to me. Ask your office.

I never went into another cycle on the meds, and I've had to refill a few times. I would double check. You're obviously still in the same cycle and the insurance company should understand that. I'd just give them a ring.
