What to do/where to eat in Mystic CT?
We are going early March.
We planned to do the Aquarium...seaport, Old Mystic Village shopping and Stonington Vineyards on way home.
Its with my 21 month old son...so is there anything else fun to do?
And any really GOOD places to eat?
We know we are hitting Five Guys burgers, Mystic Pizza and Margaritas but looking for a nice place for a dinner.
TIA!

We had a nice dinner there at a seafood restaurant....and for the life of me right now I can't remember the name! I will ask DH tonight.
It is right at the beginning of the bridge -- i'll try to find out the name, the food was delicous (i had steak, not a huge seafood fan, but DH loved it)

I posted this on your facebook account, but I'll say it here too - the Daniel Packer Inn was the single best meal I've ever had.
Just incredible.

hey i just got back today from Mystic, CT and I loved it there. We stayed at the steamboat inn thanks to scott's recommendation!!! We were goin to go to daniel packer inn but right next door to steamboat inn was a restaurant called Ancient Mariners and we really loved there burgers...it was very convient for us :) we also ate at mystic pizza which was nothin to write about it...it's a glorified dominos but we wanted to eat there to say we did!! lol....anway, we did teh aquarium...took us only an hour to get through...a lot of money for just an hour but it's worth it..we also did old mistick village...it was really dead ...it's cute the area but the stores are all the same..anyway, we had a great time..our hotel was just amazing!!!!
hope u have a great time!!

I know you were asking about dinner, but you have to have breakfast at Kitchen Little. It's this little tiny place, but the food is amazing!

We just got back. For nice dinners we ate at the River Walk (mostly seafood but they had other things) in downtown Mystic, and Steak Loft right next to Olde Mystic Village.

If you do this, they only take cash! We ended up at Friendly's because we wanted to save our money for the tolls on the way home, and the girl at the desk of our hotel told us about Kitchen Little, but that they only take cash.

We stayed in that hotel across from Old Mystick Village ( I think it was called Holiday Inn Express) and the restaraunt right next to it is NOT so good.
I cant think of the name but just move along right past...
ETA: Jamms is the name of it!
