What to expect at 1st RE appt
We're taking the plunge and have an appt at NSUH this week. What can I expect? What should I do to prepare?
Also, for those that use NSUH, can I FM you a question?
TIA!
ETA a new question: I will be 6 or 7 DPO on my 1st appt. Will a bloodtest this early show if I am PG? Thanks

Re: What to expect at 1st RE appt
In our first appointment, DH and I met with the RE in his office. He asked a whole bunch of questions about our health and medical histories. He then gave me a gyn exam with an internal sonogram. I had blood taken for some tests and DH scheduled his semen analysis. I also asked for and was given a prescription for a HSG test. Good luck and hopefully your stay on this board is short!
ETA: I also typed up and gave to the doctor a brief description of 6 months of my cycles including their lenght and when I ovulated. I also included things we had been trying to get pg like OPK, temping, herbs/vitamins. HTH!
