What to expect today, 16 week appt....
Im a little nervous about going today. Last time I went i was having some complications.... and I still am not showing or feeling pregnant...
What do I expect for todays visit? Sonogram? Blood?

not too much, they listened for the HB with the external doppler, took urine, BP and weight and discussed any questions/concerns etc.

All they did was take urine sample, blood pressure, and listen for the HB with the doppler. They will probably send you for the AFP bloodwork if they don't do it in the office.

Dont worry!..I didnt feel pregnant at all when i was 16 weeks as well. I wasnt really showing and never had any symptoms. Once you hear the HB it will make you feel better!

Ditto....hearing the HB always made me feel better because I never had any symptoms!!!

I know they had mentioned wanting to check for down syndrome... Im not sure if I want to go through with it though...

Did you already have your ultrascreen or the that NT thing? That is the test for DS, and it has to be done before 14 weeks. . .
