Re: What to put in the pinata...

What about going to Costco or BJ's and getting the big bag of tootie pops and assorted stuff?

I did a pinata for my friends sons birthday party and got a ton of stuff at party city. Not cheesy toys, but stickers, crayons, pencils etc.

marissa, I agree, my sister and I cringe withi those chatchka toys.

and Ive also stopped doing the pinyata for that reason, along with the kids fighting over who gets what. once in a while I sporadically buy one again Chat Icon

how about the little bags of entenmanns muffins, small cookie packs, crackers, lollipops, gummy fruit snacks (sorry gotta put SOME "bad stuff" in Chat Icon) and tattoes and stickers are always great. depending on the ages, crayons and pencils.

Re: What to put in the pinata...

Just keep in mind that the openings on most pinatas is only a few inches. Most bagged items will get stuck. You can always pull them out by hand, but it sort of ruins the effect.
