I aggree on the Bouncy seat. From the beginning that thing has been a LIFESAVER!!!
I would say Pack & Play too since it can have so many uses.

Re: What to put together before baby comes home?
Definately Pack-n-play - we used it for naps, changing, etc. from the first day. We used th bouncy seat and swing pretty soon after that.

Re: What to put together before baby comes home?
I think you have the list -
Bassinet Pack n Play Baouncer Swing Car seat Installed Stroller
Would all be most helpful. My baby came too early and I had none done so don't worry if you don't - it does all get done.

Re: What to put together before baby comes home?
I have the car seat installed in the car, the pack and play set up, the bouncy seat, the stroller and the bassinet. I have yet to put the swing together...I'll probably do that today.

I would add crib to the list - you have about 3 months to get it together

I was in the same boat - Joseph's first changing table was a storage box. I had no furniture yet so I used the storage space at the bottom of a borrowed bassinet. In the end I realize the things you really need are a place to sleep, diapers and a car seat.
If you're really planning, you can make some dinners to freeze for the first few weeks.

Re: What to put together before baby comes home?
We put everything but the high chair together and used it all but the swing. We tested it out but she's still not a fan.
