What to wear at fall shower?
My mom is planning my baby shower for around Thankgiving....do you think it will be too cold for a dress? Do they have maternity tights? I was also thinking pants with a funky sweater and boots, but not sure where to look. I will be around 6 months at the time, so I won't be huge yet.
Fall/winter ladies, what were you thinking for shower attire?

I don't think it's ever too cold to wear a dress. You can always wear knee high boots and add tights if it's really cold. They definitely sell maternity tights Destination Maternity.

I don't know if I'll be doing a dress for my late fall shower. I'm thinking of black leggings with some kind of long top, maybe with a skinny belt above the bump (depending on the top)

Mine was December 1st, i wore jeggings and this top with a white tank top underneath

I don't think it is necessary to wear a dress. You can always dress up Leggings, with Boots and a nice Sweater.

this! i mean i wear cocktail dresses with pumps to winter weddings so im sure you'll be ok!

My shower is probably going to be around the same time - my mom is looking at the weekend before Thanksgiving. I'm thinking some sort of knee length dress with boots.

What to wear at fall shower?
I'd suggest pants or a long dress for ANY season baby shower.
Its very difficult to sit in a ladylike way, when 7-8 months pregnant and trying to open gifts!

My shower with DD was November 15th. I wore a plum colored dress without tights. I don't think it was that cold outside.

I recommend tights no matter what time of year it is! And yes they do sell maternity tights at Destination Maternity. Otherwise you are at risk of exposing your world to your family and friends when you're sitting opening gifts.
