What to wear to bridal shower?
One of my oldest friends is having her shower this weekend, so I want to look awesome, obviously. I haven't seen most of these people in a long time, and I'm still heavier than I'd like, but give me some ideas on what to wear? Everyone will be pretty trendy, knowing the bride!
Are dresses the standard?

Re: What to wear to bridal shower?
I love dresses, but I wouldn't say they are standard. At showers, I have seen a 50/50 mix. What is the venue like? More upscale, more formal ? Or more casual?
Do you normally wear dresses? Do you feel comfortable in one? I know myself, I feel much slimmer and more comfy in a dress- I feel like it can hide a multitude of sins- if it's the right fit and can highlight your good points whether that be legs, cleavage, etc.
Wrap dresses are universally flattering in my opinion.

Wrap dresses are my fave kind! I have one I could wear, but I need my full body spanx and push up bra to not look like a block LOL it's at Baccaro in Massapequa.

Totally agree with this, especially the wrap dress. They are versatile enough for many occasions, can be dressed up or be understated, and it works well on almost any body type! I still had weight to lose at my son's christening but I felt great in my wrap dress.
