What touches you...what moves you to tears?
I am a crier. I am not a cry baby, I do not cry wolf. I don't cry when my nail polish smudges or when I can't buy something I want.
I do cry when I am angry, b/c I prefer that as a release to yelling and screaming (which never makes me feel better)
I am especially moved to tears by acts of kindness and generosity of spirit. Today I received an fm from a most wonderful person...she said some very kind words and it caused me to literally bawl at my desk. The knowledge that I have people out there, who care so much for me when they really have no "reason" to (ie, not family etc) moves me so much.
There are a few people in my life (virtual and otherwise  ) that I would be lost without. My thankfulness to have found them...is immeasureable.

Anything animal related sad or overly happy and when I seeing elderly couples together doing things happily.

I'm quite emotional. I'm always sad when we pass by roadkill...is that weird? I feel so bad for those animals!

for much of the same reason.
I too am beyond fortunate to have people who care about me ("virtual or otherwise ").
I *do* cry easily. Especially when something is heartfelt...whether it be written, spoken or seen. I am an equal opportunity crier. But oftentimes I'm moved to tears by words. They have such power over me.
I'm a crying mess once the sappy music starts playing in sitcoms though!

My Niece & Nephew ALWAYS move me to tears. They truly are the most precious children I have ever met.
I can't really explain it...it's little things they do...the way they behave, react to some tough situations that they've encountered in their tiny little lives and the way they truly care for each other and others.

Emotionally, he's having a tough time right now, which also makes me cry
He just returned to his native country for a few months. Knowing he's so far away, it makes me cry
Just thinking about him right now, I'm getting that huge lump in my throat.

My father does that to me, too. Except that right now he's got something going on health wise and I can't even write about it without getting a lump in my throat.
I cry from start to finish when I watch "Cinema Paradiso" because I feel like it's kind of like my father's story. He didn't go on to become famous but he left everything in Sicily behind and didn't look back.

I'm an extremely emotional person. I cry over any sad story that involves animals or children, I cry when I think about how lucky I am to have such a wonderful family, and I cry when somebody goes out of there way to do something special for me.
