What type of candles/air scents do you use?
That last a while. I feel like whatever we use the scent is gone within a half hour.

You mean it's gone 1/2 hour after you light it or 1/2 hour after you shut it off/put the flame out?
I use Yankee Candle tarts in a tart warmer and I find that the smell lasts longer than if I just light a candle.

soy-based are best for scent, more powerful than wax.
tarts are great, as they are more concentrated.
years ago, i worked at Yankee Candle, so I'm kinda a pro when it comes to scents, lol
the darker the candle color, it is usually more powerful, too.
what kind of scents do you like?

I like the reed diffusers - pier one has really good ones that last...
we also use those airwick things that you plug in the wall but I don't feel that they last all that well...

I burn Yankee Candles. The scents last for a while after you blow it out. I've tried reed diffusers and I don't think they really work that well.

Re: What type of candles/air scents do you use?
I buy the Wallflowers from Bath & Body Works.
I put a new one in on Friday and we were away all this weekend. It really smells strong.
I also put a refill in my bedroom about 2-3 weeks ago and it's still going strong.
I don't burn candles all that much, but the ones I own tend to be from Yankee Candle or Bath & Body as well.

Re: What type of candles/air scents do you use?
My friend just started selling gold canyon candles & they are the best candles I've ever used. They are the same price as yankee candle (not so cheap) but some of the scents last for a couple days - i know that sounds impossible but they really do, I love them!!! Here's the web site .....

If anyone is interested in ordering my friend would love me if I gave her some business so let me know thanks!

Same here plus they are so much cheaper than the $35 jar candle and you can change scents often. I use a Glade plug-in in my bathroom that works great too.

We usually in the winter do the apple cinnamon type of scents but for the summer I want something fresh like Gardenias or maybe some pina colodas
