What was going on with the traffic on the Sunken Meadow today!!!?
Does anyone know what was going on in the Kings Park area of the Sunken Meadow? We saw crowds and the traffic was so bad. I heard it was a concert of some kind but does anyone know of what and where? The traffic was insane and at a standstill.

I noticed that this morning going down Harned Rd...bumper to bumer on the Sunken Meadow!

I heard on the news radio that there was some kind of fair and concert that people were trying to get to. I don't know much else.

It was insane! Backed up all the way past the northern state. I was leaving kings park and saw hoards of people walking to get into the park. The police had shut down the entrance to the park by about noon. 1010 wins said there was a fair. DH thought they said a bear

Sunken Meadow Park filled to capacity for the concert/fair. That created a nightmare for northbound traffic, backing up for miles.
Eventually they closed the NB lanes at Jericho, and were diverting all traffic.
There were tons of cars & people on the side of the road just hanging out when they couldn't get into the park.
