what was/is your baptism favor....
DS baptism is 2 weeks away...i have no idea what to give as a favor...but cant spend too much....what was your favor?...TIA!!

I did votive candles. I printed 2" x 4" labels at home with the baby's picture and something like "God Bless Sarah on her Christening Day" and then the date. Then I wrapped them in cello wrap and used favor ties at the top. But I was only making like 30.

I ordered little gif boxes from ebay with his name and baptism date on it. Then I ordered M&Ms with his picture on them and mixed them in with blue & white regular m&ms! I had buy 1 get 1 free with the special order m&ms so it wasnt too bad

We did cookie crosses and chocolate lolipop crosses from a vendor on here Emerald City Sweets and were extremely happy with them. Everyone loved them!

I did hershey bars with personalized wrappers that i printed with her pic and info on - so easy and cheap... then i make chocolate cross lillipops andt had cookies with her face on them made from Veronica's treats - THERE WERE SOOO YUMMY and totally worth it....

I made them. I used stage 1 jars of baby food, cleaned them out, put m&m's in them, put a label and ribbons on the top and that's it!

I didn't want to spend much so I made chocolate covered oreos and when I ran out of oreos ( because my DH opened the package before I started them) I made chocolate covered pretzels so people got to pick what they wanted.

I did this too for DD#1 but instead of her picture I got pink and white with God Bless on half and Marron Victoria on the other half. Plus I got some in darker pink without being personalized that I mixed in so I didn't spend so much on the personalized ones.
For DD#2 I got Hershey Kisses and bought labels specially made for them (in Michaels) and printed labels with God Bless on half and Erin Marie on the other half and stuck them on the bottom of the kisses. I got little favor holders from Michaels that look like shopping bags and decorated them with ribbon and put a piece of tissue paper into it with the kisses inside. They were cute.

Heather from Forever Fireflies took pictures of DD in her christening gown during our newborn shoot. I printed one of those pics out and put them in those clear plastic frames and wrapped it in clear cellophane and tied with pink ribbon. I printed out labels with her name and Sacrament of Baptism and date on them and affixed to the back of the picture.
Since we only invited close family and friends, everyone wanted a picture of the baby so they were a big hit.
