What was/is your favorite fairy tale?
I used to love the story of the 12 Dancing Princesses.
It's not that common, but it was my favorite.
What was or is yours?

I loved Rapunzel. Kinda freaky, but i enjoyed the tale.
All those Brothers Grimm fairy tales were so utterly disturbing, but now as an adult, I find them very interesting.

Oooh...I loved that one too.
Doesn't she die at the end though? It's been a while, it's a little fuzzy!

Re: What was/is your favorite fairy tale?
I liked snow white and couldnt figure out for the life of me why she would want to go off with prince charming in the end and not hang with the dwarfs.
so my parents changed the ending when I was a kid and the prince and princess fall in love - but she gets to live with the dwarfs.

Re: What was/is your favorite fairy tale?
I like Sleeping Beauty but now that I have to read them to my daughter I've found myself changing the ending to all of them.
I can't have her sleep waiting for her prince. I usually say something along the lines of getting her MBA & becoming financially independent. Annoys the cr@p out of DH.

I have a book called "Politically Correct Fairytales" I should lend you.
