What was the Worst Election (in terms of candidate choices)?
Okay, I'm full of questions today--DS is taking a long nap and I'm putting off cleaning. I'm curious to know which election you voted in presented the worst choice of candidates in your opinion (the current election counts also).
I would say the absolute worst was my first election--Michael Dukakis vs. George H.W. Bush. I saw very little I liked about either, and I'm not sure Dukakis would have done a better job than Bush Sr. frankly, possibly worse.

Ahhh! I'm old!
I think this was the first election I was at all aware of, but the next one, Reagan vs. Carter, was the first I can remember following a bit and watching the debates. I thought most of it was boring, but I watched with my family.

I was going to say that, but I was 6 on that election day. I remember that day and it wasn't a good one. My mother got a pepperidge farm cake (I was a brat and I wanted a bakery cake) and Reagan was elected.

Bush v Gore in 2000. BOTH of them were way too conservative...I voted for Nader.

My first election I could vote in was 2000.
Out of the 2 and now 3rd this year that I could vote for....worst is the first two (Bush vs Gore, Bush vs Kerry).
