What will be, will be....Hard words to live by....
I went for my final acupuncture session before my retrieval tomorrow and David (my acupuncturist) told me, "why are you worrying? That is the WORST thing for your body. You've done everything you possibly can and there is NOTHING more you can do. What will be, will be." BethAnn told me something very similar in a forum mail yesterday......Very simple, right? I've always been a "worry-wart" and an obsessive type of person. But you know what? After alot of praying, I told God, "I am leaving it on YOUR shoulders".....
I can't worry myself to death if I'll have eggs or not. If there are, WONDERFUL.......If not, I'll cry, be depressed for awhile...blame God, blame myself....but I'll survive....and move on.....Whatever will be......will be.......
And David is right....I've done everything I possibly can to try to get pregnant. I've quit smoking, taken supplements, eaten organically (except for the occasional Starbucks  ), meditated, got acupuncture....I've done it all. Now it's in God's hands.....
Sorry for the ramble, but they are very good words to live by....difficult to do, but so much better for the body. Stress can do so much damage....For tonight, I plan on taking a hot bubble bath with lavender oil....light some candles...RELAX....and let it be...

 It's this very perspective that has helped me get through this process. When it comes down to it, the part that is most frustrating is the not knowing - but there's nothing we can do to change that - we just have to ride the wave, without having negative thoughts about it, with the faith that we can get through whatever the outcome is

I was talking to my priest the other day and he said to me something so profound. He said "Pray that God gives you a surprise. Don't expect anything, just ask to be surprised." I thought that was great, too.
