What would be signs for either an ear ache or teething..
So far we have the following: 1.) lots a of poopy diapers per day (use to be only about 1 and that was every other day or every 2 days), and it is not watery just mushy;
2.) very irretable durning the day
3.) spits up so much ( I did try to put him on Enfamil Lipil since the dr. said I could try since he was on solids but he just went to spitting up so I put him on back the A.R. but still spitting up
4.) for the past 2 nights gets up 4-5 times a night, I give him the paci and put the mobile on and he usually goes back to sleep. Sat. night thought it took me an 1.5 hours and him to sleep with us to fall asleep.
All these sympotns have been going on since Saturday. I think his bottom gums are swollen and they look like a really really light pink. Thanks for help!

From my experience-
Teething: Swollen gums Biting hands often Irritability Coughing (I know that's odd...)
Often teething is accompanied by some ear pain.
For ear infections: Drinking less ...drinking a little, stopping, crying, drinking a little more, stopping, crying (it hurts them when they drink but they're still hungry - try feeding at an upright position to help ease the pain a little bit). Swatting/tugging at ear Irritability
