What would you do about a mystery gift??-UPDATE
This is driving me nuts!!
We moved this week, the movers were at the house on Monday (on Staten Island) and the UPS guy dropped off a package from Baby Gap. DH calls me and asks if I bought anything and I said no, it must be a gift and to check for a card or a message, etc. THere was NOTHING. It said it was ordered by DS and shipped to DS.  It was ordered by someone with a Amex (DH and I don't have one).
Now, it was two beach outfits and a turtle, so we assume it is someone who knows me (I have a turtle thing) and not one of DH's out of state family, but who? Most people who know the turtle thing were at my shower...
How can I find out who gave us this gift? I'd like to send a thank you.
UPDATE: I called gap today and they said all they have is DS's name and our old address, no name on the CC. How WEIRD is that? On the invoice it says it was purchased with a gc and an AMEX.
WEIRD! On the plus side, gap customer service was really nice about it.
So now I guess I just wait for someone to be annoyed that I didn't send a thank you

That's weird! Could you call Gap? Maybe ask your family if anyone mentioned ordering a gift.

I thought about calling them, but would they believe me that I was calling and not trying to steal someone's card #?
I have told quite a few people to see if anyone will fess up. LOL

Isnt there a PO or order/invoice #? You can call and give them that, then they may be able to track it for you...
BTW - I have a turtle thing too!

Is it possible that the person who sent it was being sneaky and didn't want a thankyou --- was just sending it to brighten your day?
