What would you do? Sitter related....
I posted yesterday that my sitter has agreed to watch both kids and i am thrilled!!! We didnt talk about money but i am just going to pay her double and i think she will be happy with that but heres my dilema..
I am a teacher so she is set to watch the baby form Sept-June. This is a friend of the family not a daycare so we didnt have a contract or anything just an understanding school is sept to JUne. Now i am due in April so i am going to be out may and june from work.Do I...
1) Just write a check for the two months and gve it to her and say this is for may and june bc thats what you wree banking on working you didnt know i was going to get preggo its only fair.
2) Ask her what she wants me to do as far as may and junes pay.
3) Pay her for may and june and take Allison there a few days a week not full days maybe half Dh drop her off like 8ish and then ill pick her up around 1ish with the new baby . This way she continues in her routine. She isnt not seeing the sitter for 4 months.I get a break and since i am paying her anyway....
What do you think?TIA

I would probably pay her for may-june, and use her during that time. You'll probably be grateful to have someone able to help with DD while you are with your new baby.

I agree. You totally need your own space with the 2 kids but you also might need some time alone with the new baby. Perhaps she can come 3 days a week. Think of what will work for you and what your comfortable with. Then go from there.

right i think that might be best as well. I drop the baby off to her so it would mean my dh taking Allison to the sitter on his way to work and me picking her up mid afternoon. I think it will give met ime to adjust to two kids and also keep Allison occupied. I would only do this 2 or 3 days a week. Then when June is over Alliison will be 21 months and the new baby 2 months so ill hoefully have adjusted by then.. i hope!
