What would you rather receive?
We collected money for my daughter's teacher and class moms are getting her a gift card. However, I would like to get her something personal just from us because she is really helping my daughter with the reading issues she used to have and my daughter is now a great reader thanks to this teacher!
A little background: her teacher is in her early 40s, she has great skin, wears no make up, has two kids, a husband and lives in a house.
So, if you were her, what would YOU rather receive: a pair of gloves or a box of nice European chocolates?

Same. I'm a teacher and I get lots of chocolates/candy. Gloves are a great gift!

Giving my kids teachers handmade (knit) hats, headband, infinity scarfs..so soft & warm. Hope they like!

Gloves..I still use gloves I got as a gift...I agree with receipt in case of size but it's one of those things you don't typically buy yourself..lol

I like the gloves idea but I love chocolate. That's just me though, I can't help it! Lol! I am addicted to chocolate!

Thank you, everyone! Your input is much appreciated! I really wanted it to be something she would use and enjoy!

This was exactly my thinking behind the gloves idea: I would never buy a nice pair for myself! The most I would get for myself is a pair of cheap knit gloves for $6-7. So it's probably very nice to receive a special pair as a gift!

Exactly!  I am the same way: I am always in favor of high quality dark chocolate! But as you can see, we were clearly outnumbered, so I went with majority!
