what would you serve for a kiddie filled after christmas party?

I want to throw a holiday party around New Year's-ish for my cousins and their kids, kinda like a 1st cousin's & kiddies party.

There will be 7-8 kids from 1-9 years old and roughly the same amount of adults.

What can I serve that is easy and kid friendly but still yummy?

I'm at a complete loss.

All I have in my head is chips & guac and choc chip cookies & fruit salad.

Chicken fingers with different types of dipping sauces (bbq, ketchup, honey mustard).

Make Your Own English Muffin Pizza's is usually a big hit at our house. You can set up the muffins, put on the sauce and let them top them with mushrooms, pepperoni, cheese.. or whatever... before baking them!

And piglets in blankets are fan favorites too.

Fruit strings are cute too. Get red ropes and thread pineapple slices, melon piece and whatever else through the licorice 'thread'. It's fun, tasty and mostly healthy.

You can also set out frosting, sprinkles and different candies and let the kids decorate gingerbread men!

i would order in pizza and worry about making food for the adults who would appreciate the effort more

We have ordered sicliian pizzas in the past and cut them up into small squares and served as an appetizer - kid and adult friendly....
