What's a good age for Baptism?

Pregnancy crasher here, thought I'd ask you BTDT mommies this question. At what age did you baptize your child? My uncle that's a priest recommends between 4 and 8 weeks. Is that too soon???

Both of mine were just over 3 months which seemed fine. They used to be done very quickly. It's just a matter of preferenceChat Icon

We are doing it at 15 weeks. I think it's too early only because of all of the germs around. No shots yet for a baby that young.

My DS will be 5 months. We wanted to do it around 3 months, but his godfather is in the military and are waiting for him to come home.

I was actually thinking of that myself, only because we obviously want a party after, and I can't help but think of all the people that will want to hold and touch DC. I think I'm going against what my uncle suggests and doing it later, maybe beginning of November???

BTW, I'm due Aug.3rd!
