How about paints/crayons, coloring books, board games, toy jewelry? Sorry it's been awhile since I was 5.

they had some disney princess jewelry boxes at the disney store yesterday. Also sears has a disney princess alarm clock.

crayola makes these markers that just work on this special paper.
they have paints like that too.
I got a huge set of them for my friends DD.

disney princess dress up kit. they also sell a shoe dress up kit. anything playdoh, or with markers. and 5 year old lil girls also loves clothes, or a piece of jewerly.

I agree wit ha Princess dress up set. My niece just turned 5 yesterday and is obsessed with princesses. She also like Groovy Girls and is starting to get into the Bratz dolls.
