Cooked dinner for my fil, bil, and friend and have been baking since 8 o'clock I am ready for bed just waiting for the glaze to cool so I can finish cheesecake

After being at work today at 7am I left work at 2:30 & we got right on the road. Drove for 6 hours just making 1 stop for dinner & Starbucks. We then checked into the hotel in Saratoga at 8:30 & we are now just relaxing & watching V.

I could be out partying like I have been every year for the past 10 years but this year I'm home w/ my new baby!
I just wish I wasn't alone. DH is working.

We have our 4 year old nephew here for a sleepover and we are taking him to the parade tomorrow. DH's sister lives along the parade route and invited us to view from her window!

Anyone else still up baking or getting ready for tomorrow?
I still have to iron and hang my curtains (I am neurotic over this!)...move the table around..get the "fancy" glasses out. I am thinking of just making my green bean almondine tomorrow.
I am TIRED! Another cup of coffee, here I come!!!!!!!

i was dealing with MS all day long... so i didn't get anything accomplished big during the day... but thankfully, i'm not cooking tomorrow - we are going out to eat.
while the MS was working it's magic, i put together kristina's highchair. then after it finally subsided... 12 hours later....  i vacuumed, did some laundry, washed some dishes, and put away suitcases.....
now im just gonna sit back, wait for brian to get home, and let kristina beat me up.... lol

I was going to go out, but then family stuff came up. I really wanted to go out, too.
So I baked 2 desserts and will bake one more in the morning.
