What's going on with me?

So I was out to lunch and all of the sudden I notice that I "see" a "blurry" spot. At first it looked like if you look at a light for too long and then look away. But then it didn't go away (about 15 min) and then I noticed some pain in and behind my eyes, more on the right.

I left the store I was in and driving back to work I notice that the periferral vision on the right is hard to see, almost 'blacked' out.

I have suffered from migraines for years, but NEVER had anything like this. And the pain is not like a migraine.

Any thoughts??

it sounds like a migraine to me...
that's how i get them- w/ the aura (light shimmer/silvery blotches that dont go away until the headache starts)

what u're describing is how i get migraines....

Yep, I get those migraines.

It's like you are trying to focus on one spot but can't. There's something blocking it.

I call them eye migraines.

my mom suffers with migraines and at her worst that sometimes would happen to her.

i would see a dr. to get that checked out.

Definitely a migraine.
It's called an aura.
There are 2 types of migraines- with and without auras.
I always had the auras.
They are freakin scary as hell- but they do signal that one is coming so if you get one you can take any meds you might have early- before the pain gets too bad!
