whats the best bath and body products for echema
my son has echema on his arm and neck.the ped gave me hydrocorisone for when it is red,but what would be the best bath wash and body lotion for daily use.

I only use Dove soap for baths and baths are only 2-3 times a week at most. Baby soaps i find are soo drying.
After the bath, they get lathered up in lotion we use-Jergens Ultra healing or Eucerin.
i have 2 eczema babies, one worse than the other.

The Eucerin cream that comes in a tub works wonders for us! We were just at the allergist last week and he even commented on what a good job I was doing at keeping DS's skin moist. For the bath I like Aquaphor body wash or Gentle Naturals Eczema wash.

my dd has eczeyma, and i took her to a dermatologist and they told me to use Aquaphor. she hasnt had a flare up since.

DS's dermatologist likes Dove for bathing and Aquaphor for moisturizing.
Oh, and she doesn't like using coritzone for more than a week or two. She gave us a non-steroidal creme to use instead that has been working well.

Yes they do. It's a white bottle with a blue cap.

The way I understood it... the only Aveeno product with that chemical in it is the two in one shampoo and body wash. The Aveeno soothing wash and creme for excema prone skin does not. Please let me know if I'm not understanding it right! Thanks!!
I'm using the Aveeno Soothing wash and cream and I use Aquaphor on especially dry areas or on flare ups.

Yes what the email said was the shampoo and wash was the one that contained the chemical.

Yes, my dd hasnt had a flare up since. The aquaphor is like an ointment so its a bit stickier than the aveeno. the aveeno was creamy.

I use it as needed. Her face sometimes gets dry daily so i put a dab on just to make sure no flare ups.
I bought the bottle from BRU, didnt see a tub. I would see how much in the long run is cheeper. If i saw a tub and contained more than bottle, then i would get the tub, b/c i like the product.

I use Aquaphor on DS right after he gets out of the bath. It's definitely greasey but it seems to be working.
