Honestly- I find it's just entertaining to read
Some of the stuff is outrageous!
I like the missed connections section- guys will be like- to the blonde girl with big boobs in 7-11 in Merrick on Saturday morning- I really thought you were hot, tell me what color shirt I was wearing so I know it's you.

I mean come on- do they really think this is going to work??? Chat Icon

My DH's entire business evolved on craigslist. He is a carpenter and does custom furniture, cabinets, etc... When he first started out, he used craigslist as his exclusive source of advertising. Its how he built his business. He got clients from there who referred him to other people, etc... One of his clients from craigslist was actually a writer for apartmenttherapy.com and wrote an article about him.

Now nearly 3 years later his business is doing well. All thank's to Craigslist.

My parents rented out a house yesterday using Craigslist. We've also posted a garage sale & had a huge response. Then afterwards, posted the leftover stuff for free. The best was an email my mom received thanking her for posting about the free stuff. What we considered junk is now in a safe home for women escaping domestic violence.

For entertainment, I love reading Best of Craigslist.

We always use Craigs List. I sold my old car on there. We also sold our old computer desk, old patio furniture, DH's boat, and much more.
The best deals we got were on a flat screen computer monitor and a swing/hammock for the backyard.

i just started using craig's list and like it better than ebay b/c you don't pay shipping. I got a great stroller which is usually $500 for $100. I love it. I also got a free car seat base.

We have sold so much furniture on there and its always a good deal. I actualy bought a computer desk off the people who sold us our house and it was too big for the room I wanted it for. I sold it for $100 more than I paid for it!Chat Icon

We got our Bugaboo stroller with all the accessories for an incredible deal.

I also bought a large lot of girls clothing in great condition for my niece.

We sold three cars on Craigslist and a lot of furniture during before our last two big moves.
