What's the best way to wash bathing suits?
I really don't want to hand wash them - I have a lot (including DH's) and I was hoping I could just put them in the washer on delicate and then dry them on delicate or maybe air dry??
Has anyone done this? TIA!

i was them in the washer on the hand wash cycle and hang them all to dry. I never put them in the dryer

oh crap - no dryer? 
well, our machine does have an "air dry" setting which they say is like putting them outside, only faster. that is what our booklet says it is for... no heat, just air and tumble until the moisture is out.
do we think that will work out OK?

I hand wash them and hang them in the shower
they wont be that wet after they come out of the washer
just hang them to dry
don't risk it

my DH's bathing suits are inexpensive so if they shrunk I wouldn't care to have to get new ones, but I spend too much on bathing suits so I wouldn't risk it. I hang all my stuff like that including bras and underwear on hangers in my closet till they are dry.

I hand wash them and let them air dry. I would not risk even sticking them in the wash but I spend a lot on my bathing suits so I want them to last the season. I have even taken damp suits with me on vacation - I just stuck them in a plastic bag and as soon as I arrived at my destination I took them out to complete drying.

I throw everything in the washer and dryer - never had a problem.
The only thing - if bathing suit tops have inserts - like nip protection or cups - they fall out - they're easy enough to put back in though.

I do this. But for DH's I put them in the dryer. There has been times when he washed and put mine in the dryer. Nothing happened to them, but I always hang dry.
