Whats the big deal about Paris going to jail?

They are acting like its hard time and she's being put away for 20 years!!! It's 23 days, people - enough already - and I just heard she may get out in 10!!!

IMO it's because we hardly ever see celebrities actually go to jail, and certainly not any as prissy as Paris....I think everyone is actually in shock that she wasn't given another chance and she is actually having to serve some time...I know I am! Also...it's just so hard to imagine someone who is always so "done up" to have to live in a jail cell....

I just think it's sorta shocking. I'm no fan...but heck, she must be scared out of her mind. Hopefully, she truly will use this time, as she says, to reflect and see that she really does make herself out to be a no-good tramp! I know people say there's no such thing as bad press, but come on...this has to be humiliating. Jail, a porn tape...the Hilton name used to be respected.

I don't feel sorry for her, not one bit.

She has had too many driving violations, and with her money, she could easily have a driver escort her around if she's too drunk to drive herself home. I don't get her or Lindsey Lohan at all.
