What's the deal with class schedules?
Every time I try to find a class for 7 month old DS it's either during the week at 10:45 or on Saturday at the crack of dawn. DS sleeps until 9ish so I'm not waking him up to go to music school. I find it frustrating that I can't find anything for his age group at a time that is condusive to our schedule.

Ut's because they think all little ones are up really early when that is not the case at all.

Also bugs me that the library classes are always at 1 where I live. The librarian wonders why attendance is so low- I don't know how she doesn't realize that's nap/lunch time.

I have had the same problem. Every class is right in the beginning of nap time. If I were to try to take DD she would be miserable!!

omg i totally agree. DD is a late riser and doesn't get up until 8-9am (thankfully!!!) we dont ever get out the door before noon unless we absolutely have to. i dont mind at all but its impossible to find afternoon classes!!

Where do you live?
In Lindenhurst for now.
As a FTWM, I obviously can't take him to the library, the town or private classes during the week in the middle of the day. I know I'm not the only mom out there looking to do classes with my son on the weekends. It's so irritating.

pfft.. I hate that a working mom is nearly excluded. I could never find stuff for her and I to do afterhours, after pick up before dinner.
"MOST" children are bed by 8pm. But not mine.  Felt like we were punished for being FTWM and baby.
Now she's 3 and I am annoyed I can't find a karate class open late hours close by (this is Texas) they have some but they are so far away. Ugh.

ITA! That makes me a bit annoyed. I've signed up my DD at neighboring libraries that get it!
