What's the harm in a little extra BD???
I don't know... for some reason... I've been thinking about this... so, is there any true "harm"?

No harm unless your DH has a low sperm count.

Absolutely not!
We didn't have DH tested until we had been trying for many months. It's the first step though if you think there might be a problem since it's the least invasive!
If you're under 35, I'd probably wait about 6 months before going to have that done.

Ok... phew!
Considering I am going to my GYN next week, should I ask him to run blood tests on me for PCOS and thyroid? Or, do I have to go to my PCP?
Also, if I should have my blood tested, what else would he have to be looking for?

You're just starting out, right?
Do you have any reason to believe that you'll have difficulty TTC? (preexisting problems, irregular cycles, etc?)
If not, then I would tell your ob/gyn that you are planning on TTC and see where he/she takes it from there. I simply had an annual exam and spoke to my doctor about prenatals, and that was all we felt was necessary at the time. After about 6 or so months, DH had his SA done so we could rule that out. We're nearing our 1 year of TTC mark, which if we get there.. I will ask for a referral to an RE to have testing done.
