what's the longest you have waited to hear back on an offer? UPDATE
we made an offer on a home yesterday and still have not heard back...i am assuming they are waiting since they had a recent open house and may have other offers or are expecting other offers....but we havent heard ANYTHING and i am so impatient!! i am sure they will counter offer, but i just want to know already, lol! what is the longest you have had to wait to hear about an offer?
UPDATE: they accepted our offer....well, not initially, but they got back to us and we went back and forth a little bit and we ended up making out pretty well! we are SO excited, but nervous at the same time b/c until we go into contract, anything can happen! Wish us luck!!! The inspection will be this weekend

We have an offer that we kind of never let them know...We accepted a higher offer, but are waiting til we go to contract with the higher offer before starting to negotiate with the backup. It's been like 4 days, and I think our REA is stalling until we sign the contracts with the higher offer this week.

It was only yesterday... relax. And don't let anyone rush you to make decisions, there are a TON of houses out there.

OMG We've been waiting since NOVEMBER!!!! hahah but we're going after a short sale so the bank has until 4/15 to accept our offer. The wait is beyond frustrating!
