What's up with the Helicopter over the Levittown/Hicksville border????
There is an helicopter flying over the house back and forth.
What is going on?
Did someone escape from the jail?
WTH???
Of course, DH is out bowling tonight and I am by myself with the baby.
OK... I am not freaking out!!!!!!
Maybe it's an accident????

I used to hear that all the time when i used to live on the Levittown/East Meadow border behind OTB. I could never find out why they flew around but it was very annoying but once years ago it was someone who escaped jail and we had to all stay in until they found him because he was armed and dangerous.
I know there was a shooting on Jerusalem Avenue in Levittown last night but I don't think that was it.

What? I did not hear about that.
WHAT? I live off of Jerusalem Ave & I heard nothing about that.
There have been tons of emergency vehichles racing up jerusalem towards Hempstead Tpke in the last 15-20 minutes. Something must be going on.
ETA: I checked Newsday & found this about last night. It was Jerusalem ROAD not Jerusalem Ave.

yes, I am off Jerusalem Ave as well. I have heard/saw the trucks going South as well. It must be an accident. The last time I saw the helicopter was with that accident a little while ago on Hempstead tpke with the school bus.
