What's with the sleeveless Holiday Dress?
It's winter when you wear them right?

Saw one yesterday that I fell in love with. It's sleeveless. Not sure if I'm going to get it.

Re: What's with the sleeveless Holiday Dress?
Maybe you can put a cute cardigan over it. But agree, it's crazy. And that is all I have seen in stores.

Re: What's with the sleeveless Holiday Dress?
I think they do that so you have to buy the matching sweater or coat.

That is what I noticed also. A lot of the stores do sell coridanting shirts to go under it but I am not sure if I am digging that style.

Absolutely!! And it seems that the ones that have long sleeves have black tops

I'm sure that's why they do it b/c they always sell a matching onesie and a matching cardigan and by the time I buy the whole outfit hers cost as much as mine

Re: What's with the sleeveless Holiday Dress?
I got Bella a sleeveless dress from Children's Place. But all you do is put a matching onesie underneath it.

I actually like the look - so I buy a sleeveless dress and then find a coordinating long sleeved collared shirt to wear underneath.

That's what I do. I always put something underneath it.

I think that is the idea behind them. Most are plain on the top and are sold with decorative cardigans. I can see that...it would be too bulky to put a cardigan over a long sleeve dress.

Re: What's with the sleeveless Holiday Dress?
I think a onesie looks weird under a nice holiday dress.
My sister bought Emma a really cute red holiday looking cardigan type sweater (the shorter ones) that I will probably pair with a sleeveless dress.

I agree. I personally hate that style. To me it makes a nice dress look like and overall jumper. Not the look I am personally going for. I'm so annoyed that everything is sleeveless.

Re: What's with the sleeveless Holiday Dress?
Have you looked at Hanna Anderson? We have a dress from there that my sister got for Emily last year and she never wore because we got a horrible stomach virus. She can still wear it this year because she's gotten taller but has barely gained any weight. They have a lot of nice things and the quality is great.
I love these dresses:
And this is the dress Emily will be wearing:
