What's your favorite age?
I know we all say that every age has its good points, we really enjoy every stage, etc.
But now that DS is 13 months and walking, I can honestly say that this is my favorite age so far. He's a bit more independent, can communicate a bit better, etc.
So what age have you enjoyed most so far?

Re: What's your favorite age?
DS is 14 months and the past couple have definitely been the best. He feeds himself, can walk, run, and play hide and seek , and can communicate his wants and needs. There was a point when he was an infant when i wondered when there would be a day without him crying...This is it. He is happy, content, self sufficient, and we're all loving it.
ETA: I would have another right now if someone wanted to go through the pregnancy for me, and then take care of the newborn for the first 6 months.

Re: What's your favorite age?
For me, each age is different and has pros and cons. But we say that Colin is at an "annoying age" just because he isn't walking but wants to be and is into EVERYTHING. It's frustrating b/c I can't always put him down, and when I do, we have to be on top of him non-stop b/c he'll pull something (like a dresser) on top of himself or get into something dangerous. He is 10.5 months.
Newborn stage isn't my favorite - not much too it and I'm too tired to enjoy. But I love how they're mushy and can be moved around in their sleep and conform to your body
Ryan's age - nearly 2.5. Every day he says something or does something that makes me laugh, smile or glow. It's amazing and fun to see how inquisitive they are and what they come up with but I miss the lovey part (although Ryan is a super affectionate kid and will randomly come up to me probably 10x day and hug me and say, "Mommy I love you so much".)
So, to answer - NB stage, not my favorite. Pre-walker - he's fun, but a handful. Pre-schooler age - he's fun, but a handful

LOL, this is probably why I posted this in the first place! Tristan has been walking for about 3.5 weeks and it feels like SUCH a relief after the crawling and wanting to get into everything stage that seemed to go on forever! That's probably why I'm liking this age so much!

Re: What's your favorite age?
DD #1 is 2, almost 3, and to me it is the most fun age.
Most frustrating but the things that come out of her mouth are priceless.

Re: What's your favorite age?
I'll let you know when I find it....
I'm enjoying the older years more (DS is 7, DD is 4). I can have real conversations with them, DS helps me with projects. I can really bond with him now, and he can bond with me.
DD is 4.... let's just leave it at that... anyone with a 4yo knows what I'm talking about.....

Re: What's your favorite age?
DS is only 5 months old, but if I could bottle up this time in a bottle, I would. Everyday he sees something new that he's never seen before and he is in awe. I love that he is mushy and wants to cuddle. I love that he has started food and is learning to crawl. He's past the newborn stage, but he's not mobile enough to get into anything.

I have a 9 month old. But from being around my sisters kids and my two bffs little girls i can not wait until Lara hits one years old or a little older. They have such personalities by then

Re: What's your favorite age?
Whatever age they are at! Although I will say, with DD, who is six months, I love how she is now but I'll be just a bit happier when she can sit up on her own.
DS is 2 and the funniest kid ever, I love spending time with him and seeing all the new things he can do.

Re: What's your favorite age?
Ds is 11 months and I'm loving it. He's crawling all over and so curious. He is constantly doing new things, making new sounds, he can play games and his laughter is infectious. He's a great eater, sleeper and just a happy baby. I love his emerging personality - the way he "yells" at grandpa when grandpa isn't complying with his wishes, the way he puts his little head on my shoulder for a split second for comfort, the way he looks into my eyes as if to say, i love you mommy, the way I know he knows i'm mommy even though i'm away from him 12 hours a day.

Re: What's your favorite age?
AJ's only 2 and right now...I love watching her enjoy life, explore her world and use her 'words'. The way she tilts her head when she's captivated by something, how she laughs and how she smiles all teeth. I like how she stomps around to 'march', runs around in full abandon and likes to play 'fortress'.
But yes... i miss the days of the 3mo old.. when she'd lay on me to sleep, she'd be so peaceful. When she was just learning to touch, feel and smile and laugh.
Like you said though ever age has its pros and cons.. so far all of its been fun and seems to be more fun as she gets older.

same exact thing here. THANK THE LORD.
It's still weird to me that he went from crawling to RUNNING overnight. This kid never walked.

Re: What's your favorite age?
I loved 10 months. I hated 20 months. I know that wasn't the question but it was a rough patch. I'm enjoying 24+ months.

so far I think right. 20 months. Every day he does an expression, and new word, a new body movement where he is turning more and more into a little person with a very definite personality!!

Re: What's your favorite age?
I really liked 3 months until 1 year.
Now at 20 months he's beginning his terribles 2's for sure!!! Starting to become very very difficult! I think from 18 months until about 4 years will be my least favorite phase!

at 3 months it was the best, but then 4 months came and that was the best, then 5 months came and well, for me, it just keeps getting better & better. he's 6 months now, and he'll be 7 months this sunday and it's just....the best.

Re: What's your favorite age?
Each age does have it's wonderful points, though I have to say, somewhere after 2, things got harder, so I do miss that 1 year old period! But then again, when DS isn't a PITA, he's incredibly sweet, sings songs, does more and more on his own, it's good to see him developing into his own person.
When he's not being a PITA (he's 2.5).
