What's your favorite petite apparel store?
I gotta admit I've never used to be a big fan of Ann Taylor and the Loft store but now I'm hooked!
I also love their new petite sizes - XSP and XXSP and OOP. :D I'm real petite and they have the only stuff that seem to fit after some hemming.
I also love Forever 21 for their petite tops. Anyone else have a favorite they wanna share?

I used to like Petite Sophisticate, but I guess they went out of business. I've been to a few larger Macy's stores that had a very good petites section. But that just depends on which mall you're at; they don't all carry the same things.

Ann Taylor Loft Petite section...it's really the only place that has decent petite clothes IMO

The company that owns Lane Bryant bought Petite Sophisticate and reopened their outlet stores only. So you can still get their clothes.
I buy a lot at NY and Co. They have the XS shirts and petite pants.

I love Banana Republic Petite section! Great clothes and they fit me so well! I get size 2P and i swear it's like it has been custom tailored just for me! I always wait for things to go on sale though, otherwise it is just not worth it.
I have a few very nice pants from Petite Sophisticated but that's over now since they went out of business
I had no idea Forever 21 has a petite section!

Ditto. I'm half and half there - sometimes the petite is better, sometimes regular.

i have such a hard time finding clothes since all the companies changed their sizing. i was told by several stores that the reason they changed the sizing was basically for "psychological marketing and an esteem booster" ie: someone that used to be a size 8 can now "fit into" a size 6. makes NO sense to me. 
SO as a result of the size changing, people like you and i are (old size 0) now have to wear 00. the problem is, many styles and companies do not make 00. yeah, it is a bit of a sore topic for me. and don't even get me started on all the wide calved boots.
back to your question. ATL, BR, nordstroms juniors, bebe, H&M, delias and wet seal  , and macys juniors.

It's called Vanity Sizing - it's the same reason why we have to order a size 6 wedding dress when we're actually a size 2. Wedding dress makers still use the same measurements that are used back in the 50's.
Companies adjust the sizing as a marketing ploy to make you feel better about yourself. Won't you rather order a size 2 at Banana Republic than a size 4 at Express stores evem of both fit the same?
I think I've seen a size 000P at Abercrombie, or maybe all those 00s are just getting me confused.

honestly a think the "vanity szing" is BS i don't care how it makes one feel. if you are a size 6, you are a size 6. ones measurements haven't changed just the sizing. i guess i am just annoyed because it is now such an issue for all us petite girls.
