We closed this February and were in such a rush to do it while rates were still "historically low" - we stressed about it so much and were so worried about locking in our rate. And since then, they've dropped like half a point. Oh well, what can we do? 5.125 is still pretty good.

5%, our mortgage broker locked in way too early in may and we didn't close until the end of june... and at that point rates were lower

5.375 I originally had 6.25% which was the best at the time in 2007. I did a free refinance 1.5 years ago. I didnt have to pay a dime or escrow so it was pretty great. It doesnt make sense for me to refi again and have to pay because I wouldnt save that much and I dont want to start at 30 years again.
