What's your work style?

i think i am preppy/trendy -

my favorite look is a button-down dress shirt tucked into dress pants, stilettos, and pearls. in the winter, i might layer a v-neck sweater over the button-down, or tie a sweater around my shoulders.

how about you?

My fave is cute suits with a little flair--e.g. pleats or bows

Re: What's your work style?

I have been wearing a lot of dresses. I also wear skirts and shirts (knit tops), slacks and a blouse. Very rarely do I wear a suit.

My boobs are too big for button down shirts, I always look stupid in them Chat Icon

Re: What's your work style?

My office is waaaayyyyy casual, so mostly I wear jeans and button downs. On the occasion I do wear dress pants or a skirt EVERYONE makes a comment, so I don't wear that kind of stuff very often. I try to look put together and not too casual most of the time, but sometimes, depending on what clean clothes I have in my closet, I'll wear jeans and a t-shirt with sneakers.

Same here for the most part. Sometimes I try to jazz it up by wearing oversized or layered pearls instead of just normal strand. Occasionally, I get REALLY crazy and wear a DVF-type wrap dress Chat Icon

Re: What's your work style?

I think I dress pretty conservative at work. I buy most of my work clothes from Banana Republic Ann Taylor, and J. Crew.

In the winter, I usually wear pants, a button-down and a sweater, or just pants and a sweater. I ove cashmere sweaters and cable knit sweaters from J. Crew.

When it's warmer out, I usually wear pants and a button down or pants and a lightweight sweater (3/4 or short sleeves).

I have actually been looking to break away from my usual work wadrobe, but it's hard because I work in a very conservative field and office.

Re: What's your work style?

Typicaly outfit for me: Black pants, heels, and a nice top.

I try to mix it up, but I seem to keep to a similar style. If the pants aren't black or black pinstripe, they are charcoal, light gray or maybe beige.

I try to buy pieces that are interchangeble so I get the most wear and options.

Re: What's your work style?

pretty boring.

Since I work in a lab I dress pretty casual.
I wear black, gray, or tan pants every day.
Ballet flats or kitten heels almost every day.
in the summer I wear short sleeved button down or "dressy" t-shirt. In the colder months I wear long sleeved button down or a fitted sweater.

I only wear heels for meetings or days when I will not be standing in the lab all day.

Re: What's your work style?

I have to wear a suit everyday, but they are almost all from JCrew. I guess I am pretty preppy for work, usually kitten heels or low heeled pointy shoes and a button down or sweater depending on how cold it is.

usually a button down blouse tucked into dress pants and low heels, flats or wedges.

on days like today when I went to visit a client, I added a jacket.

My staples are from J. Crew and Banana Republic. I like to throw in some trendy stuff once in a while too.
