When applying online....
Do you find the number of the company and the contact and follow up? I never do this but someone told me it's the only way to go....
For every 10-15 resumes I send I get maybe 1 call...should I be following up on online submitted resumes?

I don't think it would hurt to follow up with a phone call, I just never do because people I know in HR seem to think that's annoying and useless. I have received several phone calls based on resumes I submitted online - definitely a small percentage though.
