When baking brownies...is it oil or egg that you can replace w/applesauce?
I want to bring the calorie content down. The recipe calls for 1 egg and a 1/2 cup of oil. TIA!

use the applesauce instead of the oil!

You can actually substitue either with applesauce. I've done both at the same time with a cake mix and it came out VERY moist.
