When buying appliances.......
Did you read consumer reviews and truly listen to them? I have been driving myself crazy reading reviews of everything from refrigerators to washers! Everything is so different on every product and so far there is not one thing that EVERYONE likes .....also from reading all of this I am completely turned off by front loader washer and dryers

I think if u read too much stuff you can overload yourself with info- I would ask advice from friends on things that aren't so expensive, huge purchases like a plasma I would rely more on consumer reports.good luck!

90% of people only write a review when they want to complain or have suggestions. Do youreally think about it if it is working perfectly? I love my front loaders

I also love my front loaders. I read consumer reports and then just asked my cousin who had hers first. SHe liked them so we bought ours. When we got them home, the washer kept getting an error message. (We bought floor models). We started flipping out. We bought LG washer &dryer set. I called LG, they told me how to reset it, just had to push a combo of buttons and not a problem since. This was a year ago at least.

I took this into account too, most people don't write a review to talk about a good experience

We needed to get a new fridge and dishwasher and we read consumer reports and got one from the top of their list that they viewed as a "best value" and love them!

I went by consumer reports. I trusted them, and to back up my reading, I ran a few internet searches and found people stating the same thing.

I would definitely check out the consumer report ratings. Also, just so you know, my accountant told me when we go to buy appliances, to get Energy Star b/c it is a tax write off!!
