When can I start the stage 2 jars?
I have introduced applesauce, pears, peaches, and bananas to DS.
I have now started on veggies.
When do I move on to stage 2? After i'm done introducing the veggies? both the yellows and the greens?

If he is finishing the stage one fruits and vegtables and still seems hungry I would try a #2 jay. The texture is about the same just the portion is slightly bigger.

When ever you want. They are just bigger jars. I started with them right away, I would just give her half jar at each feeding until she could eat the whole jar.

Re: When can I start the stage 2 jars?
Well he he's having half a jar at each feeding already. So I just figure that a bigger jar might be better.
Can I start giving him the jars that have 2 fruits mixed in or just continue with the single fruits for now?

Re: When can I start the stage 2 jars?
You have to give each new fruit and veggie seperately first. Unless...for example.. apples and bananas together and you already gave him apples then bananas and no reaction.

He has tried applesauce, pears, peaches, and bananas.
I just started him on veggies. The first veggie I am doing is carrot.
Should I wait until I try all the veggies?

Re: When can I start the stage 2 jars?
Stage 2 are just larger jars of the single fruits/veggies, some are combinations. If he is eating the whole stage 1 and wants more, then go to stage 2. If you want to combine things he already has had, then do it.

Well he doesn't show any signs that he wants more. He eats what I give him.

well then unless you just want to try the combo ones, no need to start them.

Re: When can I start the stage 2 jars?
DS is 6 months today. I had his ped visit this morning. She said now that he's sampled all the stage 1 fruits and veggies we can move on to stage 2. So I think you're ready.
