When companies ask for salary requirements...
Do you put it in your coverletter? How do you word it?

I wouldn't put it on your resume or cover letter.
If they ask you they usually have a form for you to fill out or they will ask you in the interview.
You should leave that for when you have to negotiate salary.

If we ask for salary requirements in the job description and the person doesn't actually put it in the cover letter somewhere, those people tend to be put on the bottom of the pile.
I would recommend putting a range in the cover letter.
Such as "I currently make $50,000 and would be looking for the standard 5-10% increase to make a job change."
Or "I am looking for a range of $60,000 -$80,000."
