Just wondering what to expect. I know everyone is diff, but I tend to feel nauseous rather easily, so I have a feeling that it may be bad for me...

All I have had has been a little heartburn, esp. when I go to bed.

Anyway I work from home so I guess I shouldn't even answer this question, lol..

I'm almost 6 wks pregnant and have had mild nauseau when I don't eat consistently. I'm hoping it doesn't get any worse than that since I'm still able to eat and work out.

NONE with DD. I threw up once but that was because of a migraine headache. I had some moments of nausea but that was it.

with my first child, i was sick from week 5 until the end. with this baby, it's only been slight moments of nausea that are easily curbed with ritz and water. so each woman and each pregnancy is different. i also keep a bottle of emetrol in my desk for the moments that i feel worse...but so far, no visits to pray to the porcelain gods!

good luck!

eta-yes, there were times i was late for or stayed out of work because of it!

I was nauseous almost all the time but I never missed work solely because of morning sickness.

I missed 3 days of work due to preg-induced migraines around 14 weeks.

I threw up from 8 weeks till the day I gave birth. I didn't miss much work but had to get used to throwing up wherever I was. So on the train, at my desk, in the bathroom at work. not fun but you get through it.

I haven't missed work because I am a maniac about it. I was dehydrated from vomiting so frequently and lost 8 lbs before week 10!

My doctor put me on Zofran and that has helped a lot. But my ms was very severe.

You can miss work if you have more than 50 employees, FMLA allows for it. We don't have that here, so it doesn't apply to me.

Mine started at about week 6 and it is still pretty horrible at week 11.

I had pretty bad morning sickness and threw up a lot (mostly in the morning before I even ate anything which in some ways was good!). I did miss a lot of work, but mostly that is because I commute to work by subway and some days I just could not do the subway (it made me even more nauseous ).

I had absolutely no MS and I have never needed to take a day off from work because of pregnancy ailments. I've had days where my back hurts or I'm a little more swollen, but it's never been too bad. I'm due Friday and I'm still teaching dance 4 days a week.

I only felt a little queasy with my son after I reached my 6th week.

With my daughter I was DEFINITELY nauseous by 5 weeks.

With my first pregnancy it started at 7weeks and I was very sick. went into work late often and left early through out my entire pregnancy (it was ok since I was the boss)/.

With #2 pregnancy it started at 5 weeks and was extremely severe. I could not take care of my daughter was my hospitalized twice. I also have hyperemisis gravadarum (which I pray NO ONE ever experiences in their pregnancies)

Just stay positive, eat 5 small meals a day and always drink a lot of water along with plenty of sleep and no stress.
